Regulations on Behaviors Violating Exam Management and Their Punishments for Students of Shishi Tianfu High School

I. Classification of Exam Violations

Behaviors violating exam management by students are divided into the following three categories:

(I) Minor Violations

  1. Carrying items other than those specified into the examination room or not placing them in the designated position;

  2. Not taking the exam at the designated seat;

  3. Answering questions before the exam start signal is issued or continuing to answer questions after the exam end signal is issued;

  4. Peeking, whispering, gesturing or signaling to others during the exam;

  5. Making noise, smoking or engaging in other behaviors that affect the order of the examination room within the scope prohibited by the examination room or education examination institution;

  6. Leaving the examination room without the consent of the examination staff during the exam;

  7. Taking test papers, answer sheets (including answer cards, answer sheets, etc., the same below), draft paper and other test papers out of the examination room;

  8. Using pens or paper other than those specified to answer questions, or writing names, test numbers or other information on places other than those specified in the test papers, or marking information on the answer sheets in other ways;

  9. Other behaviors that violate the examination room rules but do not constitute cheating.

(II) Cheating Behaviors

  1. Carrying materials related to the exam content or electronic devices storing materials related to the exam content to take the exam;

  2. Copying or assisting others to copy answers to test questions or materials related to the exam content;

  3. Coercing others to provide convenience for their own copying;

  4. Carrying devices with sending or receiving information functions;

  5. Having others take the exam in one's own name;

  6. Intentionally destroying test papers, answer sheets or test materials;

  7. Filling in names, test numbers and other information inconsistent with one's own identity on the answer sheets;

  8. Passing or receiving items or exchanging test papers, answer sheets, draft paper;

  9. Other behaviors of obtaining or attempting to obtain test answers or test scores by improper means.

(III) Serious Cheating Behaviors

  1. Organizing cheating;

  2. Providing cheating devices or other help for others to organize cheating;

  3. Illegally selling or providing test questions or answers to others for the purpose of cheating in exams;

  4. Taking exams on behalf of others or having others take exams on one's own behalf.

II. Punishment Measures

(I) Minor Violations

For minor violations, the exam scores of the subject shall be cancelled and a warning punishment shall be given.

(II) Cheating Behaviors

For cheating behaviors, the exam scores of the subject shall be cancelled and a demerit recording punishment shall be given; if the circumstances are serious, a probation punishment shall be given.

(III) Serious Cheating Behaviors

For serious cheating behaviors, the exam scores of the subject shall be cancelled and a probation punishment shall be given; if the circumstances are particularly serious, an expulsion from school punishment shall be given.

III. Handling Procedures

  1. When exam staff find that students have violated regulations, they shall promptly stop them and record them truthfully;

  2. After the exam, the exam staff shall report the situation of students who violated regulations to the school's Moral Education Department;

  3. The school's Moral Education Department shall investigate and verify the situation of students who violated regulations;

  4. The school shall make corresponding handling decisions according to this regulation based on the investigation and verification results;

  5. The handling decision shall be served on the student himself/herself and his/her parents shall be notified;

  6. If students disagree with the handling decision, they may file an appeal in accordance with the relevant provisions of the school.

IV. Supplementary Provisions

  1. These regulations apply to all kinds of exams organized by our school;

  2. These regulations shall be interpreted by the school's Academic Affairs Office;

  3. These regulations shall come into force as of the date of promulgation.
